FELIX GUERRERO BARBA

“As a chef throughout my professional career, I learned that the secret to a good dish lies not only in technique, but also in the quality of the ingredients used.”

This is the idea behind this very personal project, with the goal of producing the best tomatoes in Extremadura organically and sustainably.

“I consider myself a chef faithful to traditional and authentic flavors.”

- For over 20 years in the profession, I have been fortunate enough to work in the kitchens of some of the best restaurants in Spain, such as Zalacaín, Pedro Larumbe, Casa Gerardo, and Pimiento Verde, where the goal has always been to create dishes respecting the product, letting it be the star.

Awards

In 2013, I placed third in the Spanish National Culinary Championship.

In 2015, I won the "Best Signature Sandwich" competition at Madrid Fusion.

That same year, I took second place in the 12th edition of the Olive Oil Cuisine Award, also at Madrid Fusion.

In 2005, together with chef Jesús Almagro, we were champions of the Madrid Community Cooking Competition, which led us to enter the Spanish Chefs Championship in 2006, in which we were also champions and gave us the keys to access the Bocuse D'or World Cooking Championship in 2007, finishing in ninth position.
